Diesel price on the rise again with 2013 budget

So the only way left to save the costs on fuel spend is to keep an eye on your fleet's diesel consumption. The tracker would allow to monitor harsh breaking and harsh acceleration, which is one of the most important factors, influencing fuel consumption. Especially that's noticeable in trucks' fuel usage graph-you can easily compare different drivers' driving habits and then manage the data accordingly. There are even courses, organized by new truck sellers, to teach to drive the trucks in proper, "eco-friendly" way. Also there are worldwide based competitions, heavily attended from all countries, to emphasize the importance of energy-efficient driving.

Harsh braking  can cause irreversible damage with trucks and buses: first of all, braking discs will overheat and driver will lose the ability to stop at all, not mentioning of a danger getting blocked brake pads and catching up the fire of the tyre - in that case the load and the truck is lost, unless the driver reacts very quickly.
Fleet management software helps to read and analyze drivers' behavior data, allows to have less frequent servicing periods, saves fuel, and of course-environment.
